<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for ameliorating defecation, extremely improving effects of dietary fiber in the intestine, not only improving intestinal environment but also having very good satiation properties after ingestion, as a result, acting on the autonomic nerve of the intestinal canal associated with the defecation requirement, and exhibiting excellent defecation-ameliorating effects by activating the peristalsis of the intestinal canal. <P>SOLUTION: This composition for ameliorating the defecation comprises 10-30 mass% one or more kinds of roasted cereals selected from the group consisting of soybean, barley, brawn rice, glutinous rice, foxtail millet, chestnut, millet and corn, 10-60 mass% water-soluble dietary fiber except the water-soluble dietary fibers in the roasted cereals, 5-25 mass% oligosaccharides, 0.01-1 mass% tea polyphenols and 0.01-1 mass% lactic acid bacteria. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
