<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system and a navigation apparatus which enable reliable and easy destination and route setting even by a person other than a driver. <P>SOLUTION: A user can connect his or her own terminal device 5 to a center station 1, and set a route from a departure spot reaching a destination spot with the terminal device 5. The center station 1 stores specific information in addition to the set route, and notifies the user of the specific information. The user inputs this specific information into the navigation apparatus 3 of a vehicle 2 directly or via the driver, when the user uses the taxi vehicle 2.
