PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to feel safe by informing the completion of processing to the user after surely destroying the image data stored in a storage device or the like of an image processor and information required for processing image data by the instruction of the right holder when a new device is bought and changed to the new device. SOLUTION: The image processor 10 has a scan function, a printer function, and transmission/reception functions of the image data. The image processor 10 is provided with an image processing part to execute image processing corresponding to a requested function, an image storage means to temporarily store the processed image data in an image data storage region, an image data destroying means to destroy the image data storage region, and an informing means to inform the completion of the destruction of the image data storage region by the image data destroying means to a pre-set specific right holder.
