PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone service control method in a VoIP network capable of surely providing a desired telephone service even in VoIP communication bridged over between gatekeepers GKs without having adverse effects on a band management of the network and a call processing of the GK. SOLUTION: When the gatekeepers GKs interconnected via the IP network are interlocked to control a telephone service of an IP phone terminal TEL capable of performing voice communication using IP packets, the gatekeeper GK accommodating the IP phone terminal TEL inserts an information element with respect to a desired telephone service related to the IP phone terminal TEL to the IP packet and transmits the resulting packet to the gatekeeper GK being an interlocked destination, the gatekeeper GK at the interlocked destination reads the received information element to control the corresponding telephone service.
