PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolution detector such as a brushless resolver which can respond to very high requirement of reliability of revolution angle detection without depending on using a plurality of detectors. SOLUTION: The revolution detector such as the brushless resolver is provided with a plurality of signal modulators (11, 12) for modulating the output voltage induced by excitation voltage accordingly to the angle of rotation to be detected, and a case 5 to contain them. The signal modulators 11 and 12 are contained in the case 5. The constitution for providing three or more signal modulators in the case 5 is also possible. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
