PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify concealed information by using a specific DNA. SOLUTION: The printed material has a pattern printed by using a DNA ink A in which the concealed information is created by using a DNA base sequence, a DNA chain length or an electrophoretic migration pattern and a DNA ink B including the DNA without the concealed information. The concealed information is identified by extracting, refining and PCR-amplifying of the DNA. Lanes a, d are molecular mass markers. A lane b is a PCR product of an educt from a part (4) of the pattern (2) cut from the printed material. A lane c is a pattern obtained when the DNA-A is electrophoresed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
