PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a burner throat with excellent durability. SOLUTION: This burner throat 4 has a cylindrical throat sleeve pipe 5 of heat resisting metal, and a plurality of ceramic tiles 6 arranged on outer periphery of tip of the sleeve pipe 5. Each tile 6 is fixed on the throat sleeve pipe 5 by a set of bolt 7 and nut 8. Surface 9 contacting the throat sleeve pipe 5 of each tile 6 has an identical curvature as outer periphery of the throat sleeve pipe 5 at the use temperature while the other surface 10 has a projection 10a having a flat surface. Each tile 6 has a rectangle penetration hole 11. The bolt 7 has an engagement part 12 being rectangle corresponding to the penetration hole 11 and engaged with the penetration hole 11, and a pressing part 13 being formed larger than the penetration hole 11 and having a flat surface 13a contacting outer surface 10 of the tile 6.
