PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature compensator for a torque sensor for performing high-accuracy torque detection with an AC voltage stable with respect to temperature fed by an AC power supply. SOLUTION: This temperature compensator for a torque sensor is equipped with a pair of separate rectifying/converting circuits 43 and 44 for severally outputting the first and second correction voltages U<SB>1</SB>and U<SB>2</SB>based on changes in inductance of a pair of coils 11 and 12, an addition means 47 for adding together the first and second correction voltages U<SB>1</SB>and U<SB>2</SB>to find a temperature correction voltage V<SB>S</SB>, and a correction means 30 for correcting a torque detection voltage Vt based on the correction voltage V<SB>S</SB>outputted from the addition means 47. An emitter terminal of a PNP transistor 52 is connected, together with a DC power supply, to a base terminal of an NPN transistor 51, whose emitter terminal is connected to the pair of coils 11 and 12 and whose collector terminal is connected to the DC power supply, and the AC power supply is connected to a base terminal of the PNP transistor 52.
