PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide shield characteristics measuring method of antenna shielded line which can evaluate characteristics of a shielded line objectively, measure an influence of noise by distance, perform measurement more accurately, and realize evaluation under the worst condition. SOLUTION: This method is provided with a transmitter 2 for forming a noise signal turning to a signal source and an amplifier 3 for amplifying the noise signal formed by the transmitter 2. An electric wire 6 to be measured whose one end is grounded through a first terminal resistor 8 is connected with the amplifier 3. An antenna shielded line 9 whose one is grounded through a second terminal resistor 11 and the other end is connected with a frequency analyzer 16 is arranged in parallel with electric wire 6. The noise signal amplified by the amplifier 3 is supplied to the electric wire 6. The noise signal radiated from the electric wire 6 into air is received by the antenna shielded wire 9. By performing frequency analysis of the noise signal received by the antenna shielded line 9, the shield characteristics of the antenna shielded line 9 are measured. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
