PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple room type air conditioner capable of keeping amenity without generating a stop caused by the protection of a compressor, while keeping its heating performance even at a low outside air temperature. SOLUTION: In this multiple room type air conditioner, a stop caused by the protection of a compressor can be prevented by preventing the lowering of low pressure to less than a predetermined value, by controlling a refrigerant circulating amount while lowering its target value by a predetermined value when the low pressure becomes less than a predetermined value, through in normal operation, the refrigerant circulating amount is controlled to achieve the maximum heating performance, thereby, amenity can be kept without generating the stop caused by the protection of the compressor while keeping the heating performance even at a low outside air temperature.
