It is intended to provide a method of acquiring or screening a human monoclonal antibody or its fragment having an activity of inhibiting cancer cell proliferation characterized by comprising contacting human monoclonal antibodies or fragments thereof with human vimentin or a human vimentin fragment at least containing a region having the amino acid residues of Nos. 246 to 372 in the amino acid sequence of human vimentin and then selecting a human monoclonal antibody or its fragment binding specifically to the region having the amino acid residues of Nos. 246 to 372 in the amino acid sequence of human vimentin.
