Improved formulations containing substituted imidazole derivatives of the general formula 1, formula (I) wherein Y is -CH<SUB>2</SUB>- or -CO-, R<SUB>1 </SUB>is H, halo or hydroxy, R<SUB>2 </SUB>is H or halo, and R<SUB>3 </SUB>is H or lower alkyl (e.g. C<SUB>1 </SUB>to C<SUB>4 </SUB>alkyl, preferably C<SUB>1 </SUB>or C<SUB>2 </SUB>alkyl), or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, such as an acid addition salt, e.g. the hydrochloride, of a compound of the general formula (I), are in solid fast-dispersing dosage form suitable for pre-gastric absorption. |
