<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which allows a desired function to be selected and set by operating a few of keys, without providing a special key. <P>SOLUTION: With a density change flag preset to a position "1" or "0", density is first set to a level "normal" to light an indication element 21 corresponding thereto (ST1). A density key 8a is operated (ST2) to light an indication element 22 to select a level "dense", if the density change flag is not at the position "1" (ST3). The density key 8a is operated again to light an indication lamp 23 to select a level "thin" (ST5, ST6). With the density change flag set to the position "1" in the "normal" level, the density key 8a is operated (ST2) to light the indication element 23 to select the level "thin", since the change flag is at the position "1" (ST3).
