<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator having improved wind rectifying performance even if there is a small clearance between an elevator wind rectifier and a ceiling of a shaft at an move-up position. <P>SOLUTION: The elevator comprises an upper wind rectifier provided on at least the upper part of a car which is guided to be moved up and down in the shaft by a guide rail.
