<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component such as a laminated ceramic capacitor with an increased reliability which is manufactured using a dielectric ceramic composition which is excellent in reduction resistance at baking and shows an increased accelerated life of the insulation resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic component has a dielectric layer comprising a dielectric particle composed of a dielectric oxide and the dielectric ceramic composition containing Si. When plotting the CV value x1 of Si in the dielectric layer along the X-axis and the ratio y1 of the average particle size of the dielectric particle to the thickness of the dielectric layer per layer (the average particle size of the dielectric particle/the thickness of the dielectric layer per layer) along the Y-axis, a point representing the relation between x1 and y1 falls within the area surrounded by points A (x1=0, y1=0.1), B (x1=0.9, y1=0.1), C (x1=0.9, y1=1.2) and D (x1=0, y1=1.2) on an X-Y coordinate having the X- and Y-axes (excluding the area above line y1=0.1). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
