<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scan drive circuit which is used in an active matrix type planar display and eliminates adverse influence of the load on an upstream sub-circuit on the driving capability of a downstream sub-circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The scan drive circuit for planar display includes a 1st sub-circuit and a 2nd sub-circuit. The 1st sub-circuit receives a driving signal and outputs the driving signal from a 1st output terminal to a 1st scanning line of an active matrix a predetermined time later. The 2nd sub-circuit is connected to the 1st sub-circuit and receives the driving signal sent out from a 2nd output terminal of the 1st sub-circuit and outputs the driving signal to a 2nd scanning line of the active matrix a predetermined time later, the 1st and 2nd output terminals of the 1st sub-circuit being connected through a unidirectional conducting device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
