PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lift for construction capable of stably and efficiently performing lifting work of construction materials while a compact transportation vehicle such as a wheel-barrow (hand car) is mounted on it. SOLUTION: This lift for construction is provided with a carrier 10 guided by a guide rail of an elevating support body 2 supported and erected in a side face part of a building and provided with a load-carrying platform 15 in a front face part so as to ascend and descend freely. The compact transportation vehicle 30 is mounted on the load-carrying platform 15. A fixing means for fixing a frame tip part of the compact transportation vehicle 30 to be mounted is provided in a guard 16 part on an opposite side to a doorway side to the load-carrying platform 15.
