PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-package assembly in which deformation due to decompression can be prevented and deterioration in the deaeration of ink can be suppressed. SOLUTION: Interior of a bag 4 is sustained in a decompressed state as compared with the atmosphere. Under the decompressed state, the bag 4 can adhere to the outer surface of a containing case 12. Consequently, the containing case 12 can be prevented from deformation due to decompression. Since a reinforcing member 23 is arranged in the containing case 12, pressure of the bag 4 is absorbed by the reinforcing member 23 and deformation due to decompression can be prevented surely. Furthermore, the bag 4 is filled with helium gas. Since solubility of helium gas into ink is lower than the solubility of air, the quantity of helium dissolving into ink is smaller as compared with air even if the degree of decompression is low, and thereby deterioration in the deaeration of ink can be suppressed.
