PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire re-wrapping mechanism capable of improving workability of re-wrapping work of wire rope wrapped around a jib tip pulley attached to a tip part of a jib capable of rising and falling freely and increasing support strength of the jib tip pulley. SOLUTION: This wire re-wrapping mechanism is composed of a support frame mounting bracket erected on one side of a lower face in the tip part of the jib and provided with a pin connection hole substantially parallel with an axis of the jib, a pulley support frame supporting the jib tip pulley rotatably and provided with a pin insertion hole connectable with the pin connection hole on one side of an upper part, a connection pin inserted into the pin connection hole and the pin insertion hole and supporting the pulley support frame turnably between operation attitude at which the jib tip pulley moves along a substantially vertical face and wire re-wrapping attitude at which the jib tip pulley is inclined against the vertical face and a wire re-wrapping space is formed in an upper part of the pulley, and a support frame holding means provided between the other side on a lower face of the tip part of the jib and the other side of an upper part of the pulley support frame to hold the pulley support frame at the operation attitude.
