PAGING METHOD IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING MULTIMEDIA BROADCAST/MULTICAST SERVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paging method for a multimedia broadcast/multicast service. SOLUTION: In the method with which user terminal equipment receives a paging channel on a plurality of paging indicator channels in the mobile communication system having the plurality of paging indicator channels, the method is provided with the steps of: receiving the paging indicator channel assigned to the user terminal equipment when said paging indicator channel is present among the plurality of paging indicator channels; confirming that a second paging channel corresponding to a specific broadcast service will be transmitted by a broadcasting service paging indicator set in an unused part of the received paging indicator channel; and commonly receiving the second paging channel in each of user terminal equipment that confirms the second calling channel will be transmitted among user terminal equipment where the paging indicator channel is received.
