It is intended to obtain royal jelly having a high activity, excellent qualities and a high purity through filtration within a short period of time by using a convenient instrument which is usable even though in mountains in China. This refining instrument 1 is in the form of a bag which has an opening at one end for supplying royal jelly thereinto and can be developed just like as a cone. This bag is provided at the pointed top with a filter part 5 through which the royal jelly contained in the bag is extruded and refined. The bag body other than the filter part 5 is a flexible part 9 for squeezing which is made of a royal jelly-impermeable material and employed for squeezing the royal jelly contained in the bag through the filter part 5. The royal jelly to be refined is poured into the bag from the opening of the refining instrument 1 and then the bag is squeezed while covering the opening side of the flexible part 9 for squeezing. Thus, the royal jelly is pressed and easily filtered and refined through the filter part 5 followed by extrusion. |
