<p>A lighting device (1) with a filament (2) which consists at least sectionally, of an at least partly transparent material, and has at least one light surface (4) to the light exit, and at least one lighting element (LEDs) (5). The filament (2) is formed as a plate which extends in one main plane and the lighting element (5) is arranged relative to the plate-form filament (2), such that light radiation from the element (5) occurs in the filament mainly in the direction of the main plane of the filament and the lighting element (5) is formed from a cold light source.
