<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine by which a variety of direction is made. <P>SOLUTION: During carrying out varying display of special patterns in a special drawing game by a prescribed variation pattern or in a specific period during carrying out the varying display, a game control part 11 of a game machine validates a detection identification signal input from an instruction detection part 13 to detect the instructing behavior of a player to change the varying time of the varying display carried out presently to a time corresponding to the kind of the instructing behavior. In the game machine, variation changing command for specifying the residual time of a changed variation time is transmitted from the game control part 11 to a display control part 14. Based on the received variation changing command, the display control part 14 carries out varying display during carrying out in a changing mode with the change of varying time.
