ADSORBING MATERIAL FOR TREATING EXHAUST GAS AND METHOD FOR TREATING ADSORBING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adsorbing material for treating an exhaust gas of which the durability under an acidic gas is enhanced without reducing the adsorbing capacity of dioxins of the adsorbing material.

SOLUTION: This adsorbing material is constituted by forming artificial zeolite into particles using alumina cement and blending a calcium compound with the particles. The adsorbing material adsorbs dioxins contained in an exhaust gas to recover them and constituted so as to treat dioxins by adding an alcohol to a heated alkali aqueous solution. Artificial zeolite re-synthesized by this treatment is reutilized as a material for the adsorbing material.
