PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: a conventional seat lock mechanism is structured so as to clamp a peripheral edge of a mounting hole between a flange and a latching surface of an outer pawl to prevent separation due to an impact of a holder and to prevent invasion of noise/rainwater and to positively latch the holder on the top surface of an under panel, however, is structured so as to clamp a seat wire provided on a seat with a pair of similar figure inner pawls, which has a fear of the seat lock mechanism coming off due to a little pull-out impact because it cannot effectively meet a little warp or irregularity of the under panel, thus making the lock mechanism coming off with a slight pull-out impact.
SOLUTION: This seat lock mechanism comprises: a bottomed holder which is roughly box-shaped supported by the under panel of the vehicle; a flexible tapered insert opening which is vertically provided independently of a bottom of a space area, provided between clamping pieces of roughly a double leaf shape when viewed from side cross section; and latching protrusions and a latching space for latching a seat wire. Thus, the mechanism can effectively correspond to slight warp or irregularity on the under panel (a floor surface), and certain insertion of the seat wire and high pull-out resistance is achieved.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
|
