PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical infusion pump which does not lose accuracy of one delivery of a medicine dosage even when the pump is used many times. SOLUTION: The infusion pump 10 for providing a flow of a liquid through a tube 28 includes at least two occluders 152, 162 having an open position and a closed position for releasably pinching-off and tightening the tube 28. A metering chamber is disposed between the two occluders 152, 162. A first plunger 72 and a second plunger 73 are provided and each plunger 72, 73 has an open position and a closed position for releasably compressing this metering chamber. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
