PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the seating comfort by making flush of a front face component of a head rest body and a front side surface of a seat back in a use position, in the head rest of the type where the front face component 1 of the head rest body is overlapped with the front surface of the seat back. SOLUTION: In this head rest of a seat including a head rest body 14 having a top face component 14A with a stay 24 at its lower portion and a front face component 14B extending downward from the component 14A to the front face side of the stay 2, when the head rest body 14 is at a stored position where the stay 24 is pushed in a seat back 12, the front face component 14B is overlapped with a front side surface 12a of the seat back 12. Also when the body 14 is at the use position where the stay 24 is pulled out from a location of a dented portion 12c in the seat back 12, the component 14B and the front side surface 12a of the seat back 12 are almost flush.
