PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller with high operability and portability capable of performing the setting and setting release of a security device set in a room having a door mounted with a door lock. SOLUTION: A remote controller is configured by adding a transmitting part 18 to a locking confirming device. The locking confirming device is configured of a control part 11, a storage part 12, a time measuring circuit 13, a display part, an input part and a key input/output sensor 19. A setting command signal and a setting release command signal are respectively automatically transmitted from the remote controller to a security device in locking and unlocking. The setting command signal is constituted of a locking time stored in a storage part 12 in locking and an identification code indicating setting, and the setting release signal is constituted of the locking time read from the storage part 12 and an identification code indicating setting release.
