PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for flexibly controlling the end-point memory of a USB. SOLUTION: A device and a method for flexibly controlling an end-point memory in a USB device are disclosed. The method includes a USB device which receives from a USB host a first token packet including a first end-point number. The first end-point member is saved in a first tag in a memory corresponding to a first data buffer within the USB device. Thereafter, the USB device receives from the USB host a data packet having end-point data. The end-point data of the data packet are stored in the first data buffer. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
