PURPOSE: A system and a method for rearing a cyber character to control an application program are provided to feel the interest and the usability for advancing a cyber character rearing game by making the cyber character execute/control the application program. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal(110) uses a cyber pet(115) by downloading a cyber character installation program from a cyber character managing server(120). The cyber character managing server comprises a transmitting/receiving part(122), a controlling part(124), a storing part(126), an item managing part(128), a training part(130), and an electronic settlement part(132). The transmitting/receiving part transmits the cyber character installation program to the user terminal, receives the application program corresponding to a training requested by the user terminal from an ASP(Application Program Provider) server(140), and transmits a settlement request of a fare for training the cyber pet through the application program to an electronic settlement server(150) through a communication network.
