An injection molding material for shaped parts (1) with a plastics base material (2), foamed particles (4) of a filler or particles of a filler which can be mixed in under the conditions usually obtaining in injection molding or extrusion, is new. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a process for preparation of the shaped part (1) in which the filler particles are introduced into the plastics material and the mixture of injection molding material obtained is injection molded or extruded whereby the filler particles are foamed, at the latest on injection molding or extrusion, preferably before introduction into the plastics material; and (2) a shaped part obtained by embedding the foamed filler particles in the plastics material (2).
