摘要 PURPOSE: A heating and cooling system is provided to prevent overheating of a compressor caused by excessive heat exchange of a refrigerant flowing in the compressor with a refrigerant of high temperature exhausted from an indoor unit and to maintain smooth operation of the compressor. CONSTITUTION: A heating and cooling system comprises a compressor(10) extruding a refrigerant under high temperature and high pressure; an indoor unit(20) cooling indoor air through heat exchange of the expanded refrigerant of low temperature with the indoor air, in cooling air, and heating the indoor air through heat exchange of the refrigerant of high temperature and high pressure with the indoor air, in heating; an outdoor unit(30) radiating heat into the air through heat exchange of the refrigerant of high temperature and high pressure with outdoor air, in cooling air, and heating the refrigerant through heat exchange of the expanded refrigerant with the outdoor air, in heating air; a first expanding part(40) expanding the refrigerant of high temperature exhausted from the indoor unit into a state of wet vapor of low temperature and low pressure, in cooling air; a second expanding part(50) cooling the refrigerant released from the outdoor unit, in heating air; and a heat exchanger(60) executing mutual heat exchange of the refrigerant of high temperature exhausted from the indoor unit and the refrigerant of low temperature exhausted from the outdoor unit, in heating air. The refrigerant of low temperature exchanged with heat in the heat exchanger is compressed in the compressor. The heating and cooling system includes a first temperature sensor(70) checking the temperature of the refrigerant flowing in the compressor or refrigerant discharged from the compressor and deciding whether the checked temperature exceeds set temperature, and a first refrigerant control valve(86) making the refrigerant supplied to the compressor through a first refrigerant supply line according to a signal of the temperature sensor.
