The method enables determining the transfer function of an interconnection made through conductive material tracks traced in printed circuit boards and to evaluate the quality of the signal transmitted on it, eliminating the effects of adapters (SMA) used for the connection to the measuring instrument (VNA). <??>The method requires the use of two tracks only, having different length laid out the board under test and the availability of a processor and of a Vector Network Analyzer equipped with an option for data transformation from the frequency domain to the time domain. <IMAGE>
