PURPOSE: A method for providing information service on a mobile terminal and a method for providing a suitable program therefore are provided to provide user's desired information on a real time basis to his/her taste. CONSTITUTION: A terminal OEM module(100) performs the function of processing basic voice call, the data communication function of a lower layer, a text message transmission and reception function and a terminal management function. A WI-TOP platform(120) operates on the terminal OEM module(100). A cyber agent manager(140) is an application program operating on the WI-TOP platform(120). An agent information management unit(200) enables a CP to register information on an agent generated for new service and correct or delete it. An agent manager(140) of a terminal transmits agent state information to a server system(40) when one of agents(160a-160d) is changed in mode. An agent state management unit(202) stores/updates the agent state information by users in a database(208). A transmission management unit(204) receives agent push data from a CP server, checks whether there is an agent suitable for the push data in a data reception available mode on a terminal(10), and transmits it to the terminal(10). An external interface unit(206) serves as a path connecting a server system(40) and the external CP server. |
