PURPOSE: A noise-damping device of a brake for an excavator is provided to reduce noise of the brake and to reduce public hatred caused by noise pollution during construction, by covering and closing up a noise generation part of the brake and then injecting a filling material into the brake and sealing up the brake. CONSTITUTION: A noise-damping device of a brake for an excavator has a pair of brackets(4) connecting with the excavator; a cylinder(1) fixed by the brackets; and a unit for absorbing and isolating noise by injecting a urethane filling material into the inside. The cylinder has a rod(3) to be percussed by the piston. The unit for absorbing and isolating noise covers the cylinder. A detachable sealing unit(8) comprises a pair of side plates(11) covering the right and left of the cylinder exposed between the brackets; upper plates(12) situated on a piston percussion part of the rod in a contact state with the outer surface of the cylinder from each side plate; a bottom plate(13) situated to the lower side of a key and a key groove in a contact state with the outer surface of the cylinder from the inner surface of each side plate and each bracket; and a shock-absorbing rubber pad fitted between the brackets and the cylinder, to prevent shock of the cylinder from being transmitted to the brackets. The sealing unit covers and seals up the piston percussion part of the rod and the periphery of the cylinder. The outer surface of the cylinder is coated with grease to prevent the urethane filling material foamed in the sealing unit from sticking to the outer surface of the cylinder. If the side plates, the upper plate, the bottom plate are disassembled, the urethane filling material is easily removed and repair of the rod of the cylinder is enabled.
