LCD IN BENT PLATE SHAPE FOR IMPROVING VIEWING ANGLE AND FABRICATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An LCD in the shape of bent plate and a method for fabricating the same are provided to improve a viewing angle without any increase in the cost or decrease in the yield, by forming a flat display device in the shape of bent plate having depressed in the center rather than both sides. CONSTITUTION: An LCD in the shape of bent plate includes upper and lower frames(210,220), and an LCD module(201,202) positioned between the upper and lower frames. All the frames and the module are bent to have center parts indent more rather than both side parts. The module includes first and second facing glass substrates and an LC layer interposed between the substrates. The module has a thickness of 0.5mm-1.0mm to be easy to bend.
