The detachable coupling for water pipes has a casing (2) to receive a sealing ring (4) with a spacer (6) and a hooking retaining washer (8). A pusher ring (10) is provided to engage the hook washer and release it to allow a de-coupling of the connection. The pusher ring has radial projections (24) which allow it to be pushed against the washer. The ring rides in a cage (12) fixed to the casing and the latter has slots to guide the projections on the ring.
