MOBILE TERMINAL HAVING IMAGE MESSENGER FUNCTION AND OPERATING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A mobile terminal having image messenger function and its operating method are provided to allow a user to directly input a character or a drawing through a TSP(Touch Screen Panel) and exchange it as image data with the other party on a real time basis. CONSTITUTION: An input/output unit(110) has a TSP. When the input/output unit(110) operates as an input unit, a key board and an input window are implemented on the TSP by software to input data or select command. When the input/output unit(110) operates as an output unit, a processed image corresponding to the data and select command and a certain input window are displayed. A program storing unit(130) stores various application programs supported for a user. An image processor(150) converts a certain image inputted from the input/output unit(110) into image data. A controller(160) controls the program storing unit(130) to execute a user-selected application program, and general operations of a mobile terminal. A communicating unit(170) communicates with an external server.
