PURPOSE: A plate heater and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce manufacturing procedures and costs by vacuum compressing a heater wire between upper and lower plates. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a plate heater comprises a first step of forming an upper plate(10) and a lower plate(20) by joining aluminum sheets(11,21) and polyester films(12,22); a second step of arranging a heater wire(30) on the polyester film of the lower plate, and thermofusing both ends of the heater wire at a temperature of 120 to 180 Deg.C; a third step of depositing an adhesive to the lower plate and the upper plate; and a fourth step of joining the upper and lower plates, and vacuum compressing the heater wire between the upper and lower plates by using a heater roller which generates heat of approximately 120 Deg.C.
