Sealing element for windows, doors, facades, etc. comprises sealing profiles (1) adjoining each other in a straight line or at an angle. One or both sealing profiles have a free cut (3) in the abutting region (2) which forms a receiving chamber for a flexible molded body (4) or sealing material lying against both sealing profiles. Preferred Features: The molded body has a Shore hardness of less than 30degrees. The molded body is an impregnated foamed body, or the molded body or the sealing material is made of a plasticized material, e.g. butyl.
