PURPOSE: A push button switch is provided to improve a sense of operation when an operating pin moves along a guide groove. CONSTITUTION: A push button switch comprises a switch housing(60), an operating knob(70), an elastic member(44), a guide groove(72), and an operating pin(42). The switch housing includes a terminal connected to an external switch circuit. The operating knob is inserted into the switch housing and includes a contact terminal(76) which contacts the terminal. The elastic member is mounted between the switch housing and the operating knob and provides elastic force to the operating knob. The guide groove is provided on the outside of the operating knob and includes a stopper(74) at its center portion. The operating pin reciprocates along the guide groove.
