PURPOSE: A refrigerator is provided to open the door of the large refrigerator easily with a little force by turning the lever around the hinge part according to linear motion of a driving unit. CONSTITUTION: A refrigerator includes a body(10) forming a storage chamber; a door(20) turned to open and close the storage chamber; a driving unit reciprocating linearly; and a lever combined with the body by a hinge part(43) and turned by linear motion of the driving unit to open the door. The lever is composed of a first end(41) turned by linear motion of the driving unit, and a second end turned around the hinge part in turning the first end to open the door. The second end of the lever is contacted to the upper part or the lower part inside the door to open the door, and a couple of levers are combined by the hinge part. A roller is formed in the second end of the lever, and a contact pad of the door is contacted to the roller.
