The strap (2), fixed with one end (8) to the rear (10) of the lever (6) is guided around the affected body part and into a gap provided at the locking device (1). The lever (6) in the shape of a lying L is fitted with a curved spring element (20) supporting its lower side and a projection (11) at its upper surface engaging with a matching recess (13) in the inner surface of the housing (4). When the short segment (18) of the lever is pressed the spring (20) acts as a rotation axle in combination with the projection (11) and the front of the lever (7) is lifted in order to release the strap (3) for being pulled tighter or for removal.
