PURPOSE: A color filter, a method for fabricating the color filter, a display device and an electronic apparatus are provided to control the density of a display color to be uniform in transmission and reflection modes. CONSTITUTION: A color filter(11) includes color patterns(6) respectively arranged in a plurality of regions on a substrate(2). Each of the plurality of regions includes a reflecting region(5H) reflecting light input to the color patterns and a transmission region(6T) transmitting light input to the color patterns. The transmission region includes a recess(8R,8G,8B). The recess adjusts the length of a light path in each color pattern to obtain a desired density of a display color. The length of the light path corresponds to the thickness of the color pattern.
