PURPOSE: A device for checking the position of a workpiece is provided to reduce reject rate by precisely checking the position of the workpiece with the pressure of air. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic cylinder(30) is installed at one side of a workpiece fixing unit(20), and supplies the pressure of air when a workpiece(24) is mounted to a pallet(26) by a clamp. A plurality of air nozzle connecting pins(32) are connected to the pneumatic cylinder, and moves forward by the pressure of air. A plurality of air check valves(42) correspond to the air nozzle connecting pins. An air nozzle(50) is connected to the air check valve by a pneumatic line, is installed at the bottom of the pallet, and contacts with the workpiece. An air sensor unit detects the air pressure of a part on which the workpiece is placed.
