The spray cap has a top (10) for the container with an actuating element (12) with straight exit channel (14) connecting a conically widening pipe (18) for the valve to an outlet opening (16). A cover element (40) swivel mounted on the top in a first position covers the outlet opening and in a second position releases same. The cover element has two bearing sections (44) which interact with opposite bearing sections (46) in the top. The actuating element on the top is attached to a fixing ring (26) and has a pressure region (20).
