PURPOSE: An apparatus for collecting the vehicle information is provided to know various information of vehicle and the status of the violation of speed in real time at remote. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for collecting the vehicle information includes a first wireless communication module(10), at least one second communication module(20), a relay(30) and a vehicle information collection server(40). The first wireless communication module(10) is provided with an identification(ID) chip storing the identification data of the vehicle. The second communication module(20) is installed on two positions or multi positions of the road side. It generates the trigger signal when the vehicle approaches to the predetermined position, and creates the position data of the vehicle when the identification data is received from the first wireless communication module(10) and transmits the position data and the identification data of the vehicle. The relay(30) amplifies the signal transmitted from the second wireless communication module(20) and relays the amplified signal. And, the vehicle information collection server(40) collects the position data and the identification data of the vehicle and generates the vehicle information and the speed information based on the collected position data and the identification data of the vehicle.
