PURPOSE: A method for setting a chatting history window of a radio instant messenger is provided to easily select a chatting thread in transmitting a message by using an abbreviated key. CONSTITUTION: While buddy 1, buddy 2 and buddy 3 are chatting in one chatting thread, buddy 6 sends an instant message to buddy 1. In this case, only one chatting history window is open and content of every message is displayed on the chatting history window regardless of the number of chatting threads. Buddy 1 belongs to two chatting threads, and should send a message by selecting the first chatting thread for exchanging a message with buddy 2 and buddy 3 and the second chatting thread for exchanging a message with buddy 6. In this state, buddy 1 activates a message input window by selecting a character input button(30), inputs a message, and selects a send button. Then, the message is transmitted only to buddy 6 belonging to the second chatting thread. |
