PURPOSE: A diaphragm pump is provided to lighten a connecting rod in a diaphragm pump and easily assemble the connecting rod and a diaphragm by reducing the number of components. CONSTITUTION: A driving motor(4) is installed in a diaphragm pump(1). An eccentric member(8) is disposed in a shaft of the driving motor. A connecting rod(9) is disposed via the eccentric member. A diaphragm(10) is disposed in the connecting rod. The diaphragm pump operates the diaphragm disposed via the connecting rod by the rotation of the driving motor. The connecting rod is made of a synthetic resin, and the rubber-made diaphragm is integrally molded by covering a protrusion formed at the end of the connecting rod and inserting the diaphragm into a groove of the connecting rod.
