Method for manufacturing molds involves defining the geometry of the part to be obtained in accordance with a three-dimensional computer-aided design program. Apart from the definition of the geometry of the part, that of the shapes of the cavity and the mold are defined, based on which rapid prototypes are generated of the concave and convex parts of the mold in a material suitable for use as model in waste wax molding technique.
